From Siemensstadt to New York: Young Talents at Carnegie Hall
For ten years, the Siemens Arts Program has been given young musicians the chance to showcase their artistry at Carnegie Hall in New York. This year, for the second time, we are doing so in partnership with the Deutsche Stiftung Musikleben, a leading institution that has been supporting Germany’s most promising young musicians for over 60 years. Through individual support, valuable performance opportunities, and exceptional instruments, the foundation has shaped countless careers. Together, we not only open doors to the world’s great stages but also accompany young talents sustainably on their artistic journey.
Audition at the Mosaikhalle
In June 2025, eight outstanding scholarship holders of the foundation auditioned at the Mosaikhalle in Siemensstadt, Berlin. A distinguished jury – consisting of Bettina Bermbach (Managing Director, Deutsche Stiftung Musikleben), Yukie Buerkner-Damm (Universal Music), Veriko Tchumburidze (violinist and alumna of the foundation), Kerstin Schüssler-Bach (music publisher, Boosey & Hawkes Berlin), and Stephan Frucht (Artistic Director, Siemens Arts Program) – selected, after intensive performances, two winners: Elias David Moncado (violin) and Arcan Isenkul (viola). In September 2025, they will fill Carnegie Hall with their music.
