
Violist Arcan İsenkul continues his successful concert season with two major solo performances in Turkey this May. Recognized for his prominent national and international accomplishments, İsenkul will join two distinguished symphonies as a guest soloist.
The first performance takes place on Friday evening, May 15, 2026, at the Adana Metropolitan Municipality Concert Hall. Performing under the baton of maestro Dian Chobanov with the Çukurova State Symphony Orchestra, İsenkul will interpret William Walton's celebrated Viola Concerto. The 'Young Generation Soloists' concert will also feature violinist Ada Yalın Yücel performing Tchaikovsky's Violin Concerto.
Following his Adana appearance, İsenkul will travel to Muğla for the 'Young Stars Concert' on May 21, 2026. Performing at the Muğla Yıldız Kenter Stage, he will interpret Yalçın Tura's Viola Concerto alongside the Muğla Metropolitan Municipality Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Ceyda Ayanoğlu. Marimbist Çetin Özen is also featured on the program with Koppel's Marimba Concerto No. 1.
Currently studying in the class of world-renowned violist Prof. Tabea Zimmermann at the Frankfurt University of Music and Performing Arts (HfMDK), Arcan İsenkul has previously appeared at Carnegie Hall in New York. He is the first prize winner of the International Prof. Ruşen Güneş Viola Competition.
