Among the select young talents joining Kobekina for this July concert series is violist Arcan İsenkul, currently pursuing his bachelor’s degree at the HfMDK Frankfurt under the tutelage of Prof. Tabea Zimmermann. Alongside violinists Marie Helling and Maxim Tzekov and cellist Ángela Aguareles, this dynamic ensemble will tackle some of the most monumental works in the chamber music repertoire. The program features Schubert’s C major Quintet (D 956)—famously described by critic Joachim Kaiser as a "sounding mystery"—and Glazunov’s Opus 39, which elegantly weaves together Slavic folk melodies. For İsenkul, performing on his 1973 Josef Kantuscher viola, this collaboration marks a significant international milestone in his professional trajectory. Audiences will have the opportunity to witness this intergenerational meeting on July 16, 2026, within the atmospheric walls of the historic Klosterkirche Bordesholm.
