This special concert, realized through collaboration between Siemens Arts Program and Deutsche Stiftung Musikleben, provided young musicians with the opportunity to perform in one of the world's most prestigious concert halls.
"For me, last Thursday's debut at Carnegie Hall's Weill Music Room was a dream come true," says Elias David Moncado. "The three works by Eugène Ysaÿe, Manuel Ponce, and Franz Waxman that I performed all hold great significance in my musical development. I was overwhelmed by the warmth and enthusiasm of the New York audience, and it was truly heartwarming to see so many family members, friends, and acquaintances at this performance."
For violist Arcan İsenkul, the concert trip to New York was also an unforgettable experience: "I am very grateful and happy that I was able to participate in the Siemens Arts Program in New York and thus had the opportunity to play for the first time in my life at Carnegie Hall's Weill Music Room. It was also a wonderful opportunity for me to meet new people and make music with them."
