In 2025, the death of Béla Bartók will mark its 80th anniversary. This, together with his close connection to the city of Frankfurt, gives the HfMDK occasion to honor Bartók – one of the most important composers of the past century – with a festival weekend. The diverse program, designed by the university’s faculty and students, presents him in all his facets and offers fascinating insights into all periods of his creative work.
